His first band was really nothing, it was him and a few other workers in an upholstery factory got instruments and played in there, then his first big band was The White Stripes with Meg White but they broke up shortly before the where supposed to play at ACL, then Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler formed The Raconteurs which was formed just for fun and wasnt expected to last long, when they broke up both Jack White and Jack Lawrence got with Alison Mosshart and Dean Fertita and formed The Dead Weather, Jack White currently plays drums in The Dead Weather
