I have been having a lot of trouble finding out myself.

Here is what I know:

When we're in this to the neck and about to be erect, 

and we can't see through the forest for the trees,

suddenly the penny drops, and we're pulling out the stops,

we discover strength we couldn't find before

The missing part:

I've seen lyrics which go:

"Life has something and it's jumping from the floor"

I don't agree with this but don't know the exact answer as I can only find one copy of the song available to hear and it has cymbals right where it might make sense.

My ideas: "Life grumbles or it stumbles on the floor".... likewise not right

or "Life slumbers and it's number's on the floor"
