It's not much of a life when you're just a pretty face Just to be whoever you are is no disgrace Don't be scared if you don't fit in Look who's in the reject bin! It's the Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Dolls like you and me Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls made imperfectly So if you got a bump on your nose or a lump on your toes Do not despair Be like the Raggy Dolls, and say I just don't care Cause Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Are happy just to be Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls, Dolls like you and me! It's not much of a life when you're just a pretty face Just to be whoever you are is no disgrace Look around and you will find People of every kind Like the Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Dolls like you and me Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Made imperfectly So if you're not at ease with your nobbly knees and your fingers are all thumbs Stand on your two left feet, and join our Raggy Doll chums Cause Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Are happy just to be Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls Dolls like you and me!

The last episode of The Raggy Dolls, (series 11, episode 10) was titled "Bored", and featured Rupert the Roo, a toy Kangaroo who lives in Mr Grimes' cottage with Old Ted. Feeling bored, Rupert wanders off and meets up with the Raggy Dolls who are going sailing on their yacht. But he finds sailing on the river equally boring - until they come across a film company making a costume drama. After the hero defeats the villain in a duel on the bridge, the camera crew set up a for a close-up. As the camera moves in for the hero and heroine's kiss the director yells "Cut!" Sitting right in the centre of frame is Rupert, who has climbed onto the parapet to get a better view. Angry at his scene being spoilt the lead actor grabs Rupert and throws him into the river. Fortunately the Raggy Dolls are there to fish him out. A very sodden Rupert decides that maybe just being bored isn't such a bad thing. It had originally been decided to stop production after series 9, and Orchid, the production company, had disbanded it's animation team. Then YTV decided to do a final series to tie it up. During the course of series 10 Mr Grimes meets up with his childhood sweetheart Cynthia, and in the last episode the Raggy Dolls He asks her to marry him. Cynthia rescues the Raggy Dolls from the Reject Bin and takes them to live in Mr Grime's cottage. In the final shot they watch from the window as Mr Grimes and Cynthia set off to the church. But the programme marketing people didn't want a conclusion to the show, as in practise the various series might well be screened out of order by purchasing TV companies. So an 11th series was made, which began with the Raggy Dolls stowing away in the Grimes' luggage as they left on their honeymoon cruise of the Mediterranean. At the end of episode 6 ("The Eyes of Rami") the statue of an Ancient Egyptian Princess grants the dolls their hearts' desire. They all make the same wish - to be back in the Reject Bin, free to have adventures as before! The remaining 4 episodes were therefore in the same vein as the earlier series, and series 11 could be followed by any other series with hardly any lack of continuity.
