What are the first two quarter quells in Catching Fire?

• In the 25th Hunger Games, the tributes were voted into place by the people of their own district.

• In the 50th Hunger Games, four tributes were chosen from each district instead of the usual two. This put twice as many people in the arena, and made it twice as brutal. Haymitch Abernathy won in the second Quarter Quell.

• The 75th Hunger Games had past victors from earlier Hunger Games compete for a second time. This action was made to destroy any bonds the districts had with each other and to make them feel weak. It was meant to be a reminder to the citizens of the districts that "even the strongest among them cannot overcome the power of the Capitol".

Every 25 games, there is a Quarter Quell. There is a twist every year. But for the Quarter Quell in Catching Fire, the twist is that the tributes will be reaped from the existing pool of victors.

Quarter Quell is a term for another 25 years gone by since the games very first started. In Catching Fire, The Hunger Games held at that time was the 75th, or the third Quarter Quell. Quarter Quells are different from the original games. Like during the second quarter quell, instead of one boy and one girl taken from every district, it was 2 boys and 2 girls instead, making 48 players instead of 24
