They can lift and do heavy work but if you make them mad enough do become violent they could cause some serious damage.
You could lift weights. if you lift 9 each arm you get muscle, but if you lift 15 a time you get strength. You might look big with big muscles, but doesnt mean your strong. You might have lifted for big muscles but that doesnt get you much strength.
