The Dark Knight! Heath gave an amazing performance in that movie. It was basically known by everyone months in advance that he'd get the best supporting actor award at the Oscars. =( too bad he wasn't there to get it. Rest in peace Heath!

The best children's film of 2008 would have to be "Horton Hears A Who". It was so great. They stuck to the book, the animation was wonderfully colourful and innovative and the voice acting was great too. A thouroughly entertaining movie. FUN FUN FUN for kids and kids at heart.
