one glam rock band i personally prefer is cinema bizarre, its a great band who's music circles around glam, pop, soft rock and visual kei
The most known glam rock bands are Alice Cooper, T. Rex, mud, sweet, Slade, Kiss, David Bowie, Queen, Roxy Music in the 70ies ; and New York Dolls, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Twisted Sister, W.A.S.P, Ratt in the 80ies
Steel Panther are the ones that spring immediately to mind, although I believe Steadlur have a bit of glam in their sound, and Hardcore Superstar are good sleaze/glam metal. A load of the old guard are still going at it hammer and tongs though, big and small; Motley Crue, WASP, Twisted Sister, LA Guns, Vain, Wilkes Booth Band, Europe, Kiss... all still playing, many still releasing.
Also Crashdiet are for me the best sleaze/glam act today;) Try also Crazy Lixx ;)
