The band called "Chicago", a.k.a Chicago Transit Authority, the band was formed in 1967 and to this day they still continue to play....they have had the best album singles than any other band....they also have had the best musicians ever

This also largely reflects the importance of juke box sales in the early years of rock and roll. The Beach Boys are known for releasing singles with hits on both sides - a tactic that increased juke box sales but hurt record sales. Elvis had more hits, yet he is a single artist not a group. The Beatles also had more hits but were not an American band.
