In 2011, thirty-three year old Mary Ambrose, the woman who dated Robert Palmer, is a single parent and living in Coronado, California. Some people became confused because a Lindkin site appeared listing Mary Ambrose as living in Ticino, Switzerland. It also featured a photo taken of her when she was a teenager. That information is incorrect. She is residing at her family Estate in Coronado. She is busy raising her two sons, now nine and ten years old, respectively. The fathers of both her sons remain active in their lives. After Mary Ambrose's involvement with Robert Palmer's "Drive" she has appeared on no other musical projects. Although Mary Ambrose's avocation is that of a musician, she was never professionally involved in the music industry. Robert Palmer allowed her to participate on the Drive recording as a personal favor to her. She has appeared on no other artists recordings. Mary Ambrose is a stay at home mother to her two sons. Sadly, in 2005, two people who shall remain unnamed, initiated a death rumor about Mary Ambrose for reasons that nobody could fathom. It was later discovered that the pair had lied. However, many people took this information at face value and believed the information that was provided to them. Both people that spread the rumor were close to Mary Ambrose and nobody thought they would lie about such a thing. At any rate, Mary Ambrose is alive and well.
Brougham, Vaughan and Violet are now living with Michael Ambrose, Jr., Mary Ambrose's brother. He is her only sibling, and both her parents are deceased. Michael Ambrose now has legal guardianship of his nephews and niece and plans to continue raising the children even after Mary Ambrose is released from prison. The Superior Court of the State of California has removed Mary Ambrose's parential rights due to her competence as a parent and to her criminal background. Mary Ambrose has been arrested on six occasions, convicted on five occasions, and has now been incarcerated on four occasions. Michael Ambrose, Jr. agreed to take over the rearing of his nephews and niece. He is a well respected family man with two children of his own who had also taken care of Mary Ambrose's two sons in 2005 while Mary Ambrose was serving time for an Extortion conviction. He is an officer in the marines and the courts awarded him guardianship of the three children based on both his relationship to the children and his solid background. The children will now be raised in the state of New York.
No, she was not. Mary Ambrose did fly in to Paris, France from Lugano, Switzerland early on the morning of September 25, 2003. Robert Palmer had extended no invitation for her to join him in Paris and advised her to book a return flight to Lugano, Switzerland that day. Mary Ambrose complied with his order and returned to Lugano, Switzerland later that afternoon. Robert Palmer had earmarked his time in Paris to spend with his friend Jack Bruce as well as conduct publicity appearances for the recent release of Drive. In addition to that, Mary Ambrose only traveled with Robert Palmer in her capacity as his personal assistant. Robert Palmer did not require her services as such on September 25, 2003, ergo her return to Lugano, Switzerland. The original report that Mary Ambrose was in Paris, France, vacationing with Robert Palmer, was an error in reportage made by Mick Carter, Robert Palmer's manager.

According to members of Mary Ambrose's family, including her brother, Michael Ambrose, Jr., she is now residing in California. With no offense intended, Mary Ambrose, has had some problems with the law and is now serving time on a 2011 conviction. Mary Ambrose has had three children, her first child born in 2001 fathered by Mick Carter, her second child fathered in 2002 by Christian Charmoux, and her third child born in 2008 fathered by Robby Cartwright. All three of her children are now in the custody of her brother, Michael Ambrose, a former U.S. Marine Lieutenant, who is now raising them. Shortly after Robert Palmer's death, Mary Ambrose returned to Coronado, California to reside with her mother and father. Although Mary Ambrose tried to report to the press that she had inherited Robert Palmer's Mill house in Lugano, Switzerland, that was not the actual case. The house became part of the Estate upon Robert Palmer's death, which was eventually sold. The proceeds of the sale went to Robert Palmer's children, as were his instructions written into his will. Mary Ambrose had to be removed from the late Robert Palmer's house legally in 2003, as she refused to depart the premises, insisting the house was going to be left to her. The Swiss authorities were called in on behalf of James Palmer to remove Mary Ambrose, as she was holding up the sale of the home and the disbursement of the will in general. There is some confusion as to where Mary Ambrose is living and what she is now doing as Mary Ambrose herself posted a Web site about herself, stating that she was living in Robert Palmer's home that they shared. Robert Palmer ended his relationship with Mary Ambrose in February of 2003, as well as his business relationship with her, she was his Estate Manager. The Palmer family has clearly stated that the home was sold as part of the Estate on several occasions. On this same Web site, Mary Ambrose claims that she owns the Mary Frances Stores and Catalog. That information is not true. The Mary Frances stores are owned by it's original owner who opened the stores nearly thirty years ago, and has posted a Web site about herself and her stores so that the general public will know a little more about her. In general, Mary Ambrose mislead the public with this Web site, causing confusion. When Mary Ambrose is done serving her sentence, according to her cousin, Elizabeth Sherr, she does not plan on returning to San Diego, California. She had told her she will settle elsewhere.
According to Michael Ambrose, Mary Ambrose's sole sibling, his sister used the name of her now deceased uncle, Stanley Ambrose, as her father, to impede those who were looking into her background. According to Michael Ambrose, his sister had "rewritten" her past so to speak, in an attempt to include herself in the late Robert Palmer's life for a longer period of time by altering her age to make herself appear older and to keep interested parties from finding out about some of her actions that did not represent her well, including criminal convictions, etc. Unfortunately, Mary Ambrose's plan backfired in her using her late uncles name as her father when an enterprising reporter from the London Observer made contact with Stanley Ambrose prior to his death to ask questions about his "daughter" Mary Ambrose in late 2011. According to Harvey Ambrose, another uncle of Mary Ambrose, and the brother of the late Stanley Ambrose, a reporter had somehow gotten the phone number of Stanley Ambrose and started to pepper him with questions about his "daughter" Mary Ambrose. Stanley Ambrose was baffled as to why this reporter thought his neice was his daughter and he advised the reporter of the actual facts of the situation. Stanley Ambrose told the reporter that Mary Ambrose was the daughter of his half-brother, Michael Ambrose, Sr., who was now deceased. He kindly informed the reporter that his father remarried when he was ten years old and that Michael Ambrose Sr., was born soon thereafter, reiterating that Mary Ambrose was this man's eldest child and only daughter, born in 1977. The reporter then inquired if he was close to Mary Ambrose's siblings, William, Tommy, Susan, Stanley and Christine. By this point Stanley Ambrose, who was elderly, was really confused. He told the reporter that his childrens' names were William, Tommy, Susan and Stanley, but that they were Mary Ambroses' cousins, not her siblings. He informed the reporter that Mary Ambrose only had one brother named Michael Ambrose, Jr. . The last question the reporter asked Stanley Ambrose was if Christine Ambrose, the artist, was any relation to their family. Stanley Ambrose told the reporter that to the best of his knowledge, he had no relative by the name of Christine Ambrose. At this time, the reporter thanked Stanley Ambrose for his time and told him that he was going to abandon the article he was planning on writing about Mary Ambrose. Acording to Harvey Ambrose, his brother then asked his two children who were still alive, Susan and William, what was going on. His two sons, Stanley Jr. and Tommy were deceased. They told him that they had no idea what was going on with the situation or why Mary Ambrose was telling the press she was his daughter. In realty, they were hoping that their father would never hear about Mary Ambrose referring to herself as their father's daughter as they had given Mary Ambrose their permission to attach herself to them as a sister for the edification of the press and the public. Insomuch as their father was legally blind, he never actually read any stories regarding Mary Ambrose listing him as her father. They truly believed he would never find out about the arrangement they had made with their cousin, although in the end he did find out.
After the death of Robert Palmer, Mary Ambrose sued the Estate of Robert Palmer but did not prevail. Robert Palmer did die testate and although his Last Will and Testament was challenged by Ambrose, the Will eventually stood as written. Ambrose's final suit was brought in 2007, when her legal options were extinguised. Ambrose's luck did not hold after Robert Palmer's death and she is now serving time on a prison sentence for a 2011 conviction on a white collar crime. This is not her first time behind bars, she has also served time in 1997 and 2005. Most recently, Mary Ambrose has put up social networking sites alleging that she is living in Ticino, Switzerland residing in the home that she and Robert Palmer shared. Although Mary Ambrose resided with Robert Palmer as his estate manager and personal assistant, Robert Palmer was engaged to Geraldine Edwards at the time of his death, although he did date Ambrose prior to that. Also, the house was sold as part of the estate once it entered probate and was sold by Soteby's European/Swiss Real Estate Division in 2004, it's proceeds divided among the five Palmer children as were the wishes of the late Robert Palmer. Ambrose has most recently been living in Southern California according to members of her family prior to her incarceration. She will be elegible for parole in 2012, and more than likely will be released back into the community to spend the remainder of her sentence on parole. In 2011, Ambrose's parential rights were extingused by the State of California to her three children, born in 2001, 2002 and 2008 due to her competance as a parent. The children are now being reared by a relative of Ambrose's. None of the children belonged to Robert Palmer. Although Mary Ambrose has had her problems in the past, two of her cousins have backed her up on her most recent Web site, by the name of Susan and William. Although Ambrose has tried to present them as her sister and brother, they are in fact her cousins. William went so far as to claim that he is residing at the Palmer Estate with Mary Ambrose alleging still that Mary Ambrose did inherit the house. The house was in fact sold to a European Corporation in 2004. According to Mary Ambrose's uncle, Harvey Ambrose, his niece will not return to Southern California when she has completed serving her sentence. Ambrose has advised him that she will relocate to New York.
Mary Anning was married. Mary Moore is her name now but Mary Anning is when she was doing her work.
Yes. That is a picture of Mary Ambrose at twenty-four holding her son, Brougham, who was a newborn at the time. Mick Carter is the father. The picture was taken in 2001, shortly after Brougham's birth. He is now ten years old.
