No, Seth was a cable access reporter in LA. He has moved back there and gone into celebrity marketing.

According a previously deleted Wikipedia page on Seth Browning (28 yrs. old):

From age 17 to 23 Seth Browning was a part time model for LA Models and Elite Men in New York City, while pursuing an education as a television news reporter. Browning attended courses at a local community college in Orange County Ca, while also appearing in ads for Guess, Sky Vodka and a Rembrandt campaign. Browning studied video production and broadcast journalism, then transfered to UCLA. It is reported Browning was recruited by CBS just shy of graduating, making Browning one of the few journalist in the business with no college degree. A claim Browning has since flatly denied. Browning moved from Orange County California, to Greenville North Carolina in the summer of 2004, to accept a weekend anchor position at a CBS affiliate.

According to station insiders, Browning left CBS just 4 months before fulfilling his 3 year contract. WNCT-TV sources told NewsBlues.com, Browning left after his mentor, then News Director Melissa Preas (now News Director at Roanoke, Virginia's WSLS) departed the station and was replaced by Adam Henning. NewsBlues.com claimed Browning quit and moved back to California after strong disagreements with Henning. Browning told agents he left WNCT to be closer with his family. A legal dispute between Browning and WNCT-TV was later settled out of court in January of 2007.

Browning has since freelanced in Los Angeles and pursued a career in celebrity public relations, working under legendary Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman. Browning quit his position at Fifteen Minutes PR in Los Angeles to "return to his love for journalism." Newsblues.com reports he recently was hired on by Harvey Levin at celebrity gossip website TMZ, as an associate producer and was "immediately put to work" on investigating the death of Michael Jackson. Browning recently said in a radio interview, helping break the news of Michael Jackson's death was "a turning point in my career."
