Tradition says he was. It says Semiramis was his mother whom he married. However. the planet Venus is called our great mother. The problem is from Eusebius who equates king Ninus of Assyria (1268bc) rebuilding Nineveh with being Nimrod who built Nineveh. However, the marriage or devotion to Venus answers who Semiramis is. The year 1268bc is 1100 years after the Flood, but this is 1200 years from Shem's birth and 600 years after Shem died. Venus as a half-cycle of 600 years to full 1200. In this way Semiramis is the Venus of Shem not Nimrod. Nimrod's Venus rises the year he dies at age 500 (2270-1770bc) and is called the Phoenix Firebird of 2256am, contrasted to the Dove-bird of Shem at Shem's death. The 600 years of Shem's life (2468-1868bc) is not the only Venus from Leo to opposite Aquarius-Capricorn, his 502 years postFlood life is complete from Aquarius to Aquarius because Venus returns to the same Julian date sin 243 years (60 leap days +12 drift =72 days) but Gregorian dates in another 8 years (=251 years =62 leap days +12 drift) and double it. Thus 502 years of Shem is Venus and 500 years (span) is not, a 502-year Venus would begin (2272bc) 2 years before Nimrod was born. Supporting evidence is the dove that Shem released with Noah from the ark, and Zecharia Sitchen says that Shem means missle or arrow of which Semiramis holds arrows; the dove of peace breaks the arrows, so she is not the goddess of war claimed. And the name Shem-Ramis means Shem honored. Mistaking the 600 years of Shem (2468-1868bc) as the Phoenix bird (2370-1770bc) will lose 100 years causing 1656-2256am for the Flood to be reduced to 1556-2156am. This is why Moses is not sure who to state was born when Noah was 500. Just as he isnt sure who to state was born when Terah was 70. both Shem and Abram were the youngest not oldest.

What is the Son of Heaven?

From many ancient writings, considerable is learned of this man, who started the great organized worldly apostasy from God that has dominated this world until now. Nimrod was so evil, it is said he married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis. After Nimrod's untimely death, his so-called mother-wife, Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree. Thru her scheming and designing, Semiramis became the Babylonian "Queen of Heaven," and Nimrod, under various names, became the "divine son of heaven." Thru the generations, in this idolatrous worship, Nimrod also became the false Messiah, son of Baal the Sun-god. In this false Babylonish system, the "Mother and Child," (Semiramis and Nimrod reborn); became chief objects of worship. This worship of "Mother and Child" spread over the world. The names varied in different countries and languages. In Egypt it was Iris and Osiris. In Asia, Cybele and Deoius. In pagan Rome, Fortuna and Jupiterpuer. Even in Greece, China, Japan, and Tibet, the counterpart of the Madonna is to be found, long before the birth of Christ! http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Other%20Pagan%20Mumbo-Jumbo/christmas.htm http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Roman%20Catholicism/The%20Two%20Babylons/two_babylons-the_death_of_the_child.htm

What is the meaning of Victoria?

Victoria is Latin, not Hebraic. It is feminine rather than masculine. It translates to "Victory" in Modern English. It entered into pseudo-biblical resources when Jerome translated the texts [Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts] of Eusebius of Caesarea (A Student of Origen Adamantius of Alexandria) into Latin [Jerome's Latin Vulgate]. Referred to here as "pseudo-biblical resources" because although widely accepted as "Christian" patriarchs, these men worship Nimrod [called god [alah] and lord [baal] the son of Cush (Noah's Grandson) and Semiramis [called The Queen of Heaven]. After setting himself up as god, Nimrod (Also called Tammuz and Bacchus and Victor) was dismembered by his uncle Shem. His mother (whom he married) said that because her son is god, therefore she is a goddess and should be worshiped as the mother of god.Semiramis established tree worship and the priestesshood that followed, along with the "Cup of Semiramis", and the secrete society that exists even now. Tree groves became a place where rituals are practiced, and her husband/son was said to be a tree [or man the branch] that was cut down and burned. Symbolized in modern day as the phoenix and the "Yule Log" (Child Log) who entered the fire, but out of the ashes sprouted again to new life, conquering death itself. Therefore, the Palm Tree which rises from the desert heat became the symbol of Victor and perpetual life (or life renewed). If one is the conquering hero, he is thus called the "Victor" and he is "Victorious". The name "Victoria" is the female derivative of Victor. Interestingly, we get the names for each day of the week from the names of Semiramis and Nimrod. Along with Christmas (winter solstice/Saturnalia [Nimrod called Saturn]), Easter (Semiramis called Ishtar), Mother Earth (Semiramis), Father Time (Nimrod called Chronos [see chronology]), Lent (40 days of morning for Nimrod [weeping for Tammuz or Bacchus], and much, much, more...Best Regards, Michael Robinson

Is Semiramis in the Bible?

Though never mentioned by name, she was the wife of Nimrod or Ninus as noted by historian Eusebius. After her husband was killed, she did not wish to just sit over Nimrod's kingdom as Queen or 'adored' lady so she concocted a fable where she miraculously became pregnant without having sex and the child that was born 'Tammuz' to the virgin was the re-incarnated Nimrod - making her son her husband. This began the 'Mystery Religion' of Babylon. The Bible refers to her in Isaiah 47 and Revelations 17 and 18 as the 'woman'
