Mary was probably a witch. She did not want to harm anyone, but she was blackmailed by a lot of accusers. They knew she was a witch, and tried to kill her. Mary may not have died. She may have run away into the wilderness with the Indians. Although she did not finish her diary, the "unlettered women" explained that Mary hid with Rebeka Rivers while she was having her baby (where men could not enter). Mary probably ran away with Redbird and his family, and stayed with them until the day she died. === ===

yes as she floated in water while her thumbs was tied to the large toe on the other side making her arms cross over in which a human would drown but her magic would of kept her afloat as it is believed that a witch is lighter than an average human
