Bridge is the term used to refer to a point in a song right before the chorus and after the verse. A way to think of it would be the bridge you have to cross to get from the verse to the chorus. The bridge is usually about four lines. Sometimes there are more, sometimes there are less. I hope this helps answer your question(:
