That is fully based on the kid, i am twelve myself and have watched a lot of R rated movies, played a lot of R rated games (like GTA and other shooters) and watched porn. Some children get nightmares of everything, most kids don't. I think those ratings are dumb, cause if you know the context of the movie, you can decide yourself if you are gonna watch it or not. I'm sure I'm never gonna watch movies like The Ring or The Grudge, i don't need ratings to know that.
M rated movies dont need a parent or guardian, MA rated movies need an adult to accompany a child under 15.
Rated R movies require an adult to accompany anyone under 17 years old.
I know that generally when someone refers to a movie as being rated by a letter, they are refering to the quality of the movie. Similar to how you are graded in school. In other words, a B rated movie is not as good as an A rated movie. Movies that people consider B rated generally star actors who are less known. They are usually created on a smaller budget. The director is probably not as good, or at least not as well known. So basically in the end, its just a way of saying the movie isn't very good.
Not in the United States, no. I don't know about other countries. In the States, the most restrictive rating is NC-17 (no one who is 17 or under is admitted, not even if they have a parent or guardian with them). If you're 17 or under, you can see an R-rated movie if somebody over 17 buys the ticket and sees the movie with you. But with NC-17 movies, absolutely no one 17 or younger is admitted.
Julai
maybe some not that Villante movies like Spiderman homecoming but not r rated movies . kids' under 9 or 10 can watch some
yes, it is bad for people under 18 to see NC-17 rated movies.
Of course not. They're rated R so no one under 18 should be seeing them.
Teenagers under 17 can watch "R" rated movies, as per IMDB, under parental guidance.
no. movies can be rated R which means they are only for adults, but a few movies are rated x. these movies are for adults only and many states don't allow them to be sold. there are very few thaters that show the X movies because the often contain porn.they are not recommened for anyone under the age of 325.
No, they have to attend with you if you're under 17.
Children under the age of 17, including those who are disabled and those who are not, are not allowed to see R-rated movies in a movie theater without a parent or guardian present. R-rated movies usually contain violence, strong language, or other adult themes that might not be appropriate for those under 17.
No. "Rated R" means no one under 17 unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
To allow people to make a descision on wether or not the movie is appropriate for them or their children. And to let people know how scary or inappropriate the movie is. Some are rated PG13 which means "parental guidance for children under the age of thirteen" because the movie is too inappropriate and maybe scary for kids. _________________________________________________ The government was threatening to begin censoring films. The industry began self-regulating so that would not happen.
It really should be rated R but I think so because they wanted more viewers so teens are movies big fans, so then teens under 18 could go out and see this movie.
Yes it should be, as most unrated movies are PG's. However, it would depend on what movie it is, as some can be released unrated due to excessive violence or gore. Hope that helps.
Yes, R rated movies require an adult to accompany minors under 17.
