there are mainly three conflicts in the story

  • gabriella vs liam (character vs character) : gabriella wanted to talk to liam about the lease at the lake after lunch. but liam talks of going towards south with clive, which moves gabriella.
  • gabriella vs gabriella ( character vs herself) : gabriella is confused whether to believe the hidden truth or the lie that is in-front of her eyes.
  • gabriella and liam vs the grizzly : when gabriella gets angry with liam she moves on without knowing where she is going. on her way she meets the grizzly and freezes. liam appears on the scene and gabriella tells him to bluff the grizzly. liam moves back a little and then runs as fast as possible. the grizzly passes by gabriella and attacks liam on his face.
