Both Hawkeye and Frank Burns meet BJ upon his arrival to Korea. Hawkeye meet him first, only because he went sole, to go say goodbye to Trapper, who was already gone. Then, they went to a officer bar, with Radar, changing his rank to, As B.J & Hawkeye call it, "Captian Corpral". Then, when they go back, B.J dose meet Frank, but, He was drunk out of his mind and fell to the ground laughing saying "How'ya do Farret-Face".

A challenge ensues where it is agreed that BJ Hunnicut could pull a prank on all the main cast. The loser had to stand on the table in the mess hall in his boxers and sing "Your the Tops". BJ won because he had the rest of the crew in on the joke. Here is a list of jokes in no particular order. 1.Some one "cuts a heart shape hole in the back of her robe" so her behind shows on the way to the shower. 2.Klingers files "blow up". 3. Col.Potters tooth paste replaced with "shaving cream". 4. Father Mulcahy's food was "over salted" due to the shaker lid cumming off. 5.Winchester finds a "dead snake in his bed" 6.The ultimate joke was making Hawkeye so paranoid that it drives him nuts cause's him to lose the bet.
Frank never had an official nickname; however, he was often referred to as "ferret face" by the other cast members. This nickname was given to him by his brother when he and Frank were growing up. He confessed this to Trapper and Hawkeye in a drunken stupor after he had an argument with Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan.
