On a recent episode of medium called soul survivor when Allison mentions Phineas gauge and Cyrus ames since you found that Phineas gauge was a real man is she referring to an actual instance?

Phineas gage was an acutal person. The accounts of his injury was true. He did become aggressive, could not control his temper, swore alot. Totally different than what he used to be.

Cyrus Ames was fictional...I believe.
