It is hard to say as reruns are normative for Christmas Films, as with songs and records. It is difficult to establish totals and chronology. This is not as clear cut a task as say- box office take on say (Titanic) which we know was released in l997. THe lengthy life-span of Christmas movies on reruns complicates matters. I would imaging the various treatments of the Scrooge saga, plus such things as the much-advertised Santa Claus in Eastman Colorscope- no actors being cited but this was heavily advertised on TV when I was a kid- They would shout the title- then everybody is waiting to see Santa Claus!- in Eastman Colorscope- this is very odd as no names of actors and actresses were given, unlike say- Dragnet, starring Jack Webb.

If you add up all the different versions, it would be "A Christmas Carol". Otherwise, "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946).
