Well, in MY OPINION, underground is better. First of all, most mainstream sounds the same, same rhythms. Underground has a more creative tune. Usually, underground has more meaning. In mainstream it's usually, about partying, drugs, and fake love. Plus, underground singers don't always do it for money. Mainstream singers usually do it for money.
