Leon had a management company called Stagestar Promotions and worked closely with Jeff Nelson of Jammin Z 90 Fame, he use to manage like 21 people at once. I never thought one person would be able to handle so many people but he did, and many of his artist are some of the best music producers in today's market as well as singers making their mark.

This guy just has the ability to find talent not just any talent, literally some of the best the world has to offer. He was one of the first people to bring major labels to San Diego and made it a hotbed for talent.

Randy Jackson of American Idol use to work for Columbia Records he had an assistant name John. Leon Youngblood brought American Idol Star Randy Jackson to San Diego along with some of the top industry executive of today like Darole Jones of Atlantic Records and many many others.

Randy told Leon that he was blown away with the talent, and wondered how he found so many great acts. Randy said he loved the visit to San Diego and was impressed by the talent. The event was recorded by the local newspaper. Leon Youngblood was given a three page article in the San Diego Union Tribune by George Varga who still works at the paper as the Pop Music Critic.
