Dances With Wolves maybe? Old Yeller? -The Last of the Dogmen (1995 film w/ Tom Berenger)
"Last of the Dogmen" is a fictional movie about a bounty hunter who discovers a hidden community of Cheyenne Indians. While the movie is not based on a true story, it does explore themes of cultural preservation and the clash of different worlds.
Well, honey, Zip the dog from "Last of the Dogmen" didn't really exist in real life, so he's probably living it up in doggy heaven with all the other fictional pups. But hey, if you want to believe he's out there in the wilderness, chasing squirrels and living his best life, who am I to burst your bubble? Just remember, it's all make-believe, sweetheart.
In the movie "Last of the Dogmen," Tom Berenger rode a buckskin horse. Buckskin horses have a cream-colored coat with black points on their manes, tails, and lower legs. This coloration is a result of a dilution gene acting on a bay base coat color. Buckskin horses are known for their striking appearance and are popular choices for Western riding disciplines.
