Ms. Taylor was born to Sara and Francis Taylor, Americans who were living in London at the time of her birth. I wouldn't say Collins wasn't as famous as Taylor. I would say she was less notorious and more discreet in terms of her personal life. They were both married many times (Collins, five; Taylor, eight [to seven men]).
