I went on this ride two days ago and was really scared beforehand. But it was absolutely fine. I've never seen Saw because I hate Horror movies and gorey stuff. The outside queue has barbed wire on the top of the fence and speakers which make noises like people talking on radios like "do you read me? hello? hello?" etc. Scattered around are 'torture devices'- basically bits of rusty metal. There is a heap of manequins by the queue line as well. When I was there, as I went into the inside queue line, there was this guy in a hood standing behing a fence making wierd noises and shouting- that made me jump! But you just have to look confident, or ignore him and he'll talk to someone else. I just walked straight on up the stairs past him. Soon after you get in the building you see a shotgun hanging from the ceiling. It shoots off loudly which can give you a fright if right underneath it and not expecting it! it's quite dark and written on the walls are things like "the games have begun" and "face your fears" and stuff in red "blood" paint. as you continue up the stairs there is this model of a person who appears to have fallen onto barbed wire with blood on her. when you reach the docking station there are a few more plain manequins, torture devices and hand-drawn diagrams of torture methods on the walls. But to be honest I wasn't scared- you can just not look at them. Once on the ride, you see a TV screen where Jigsaw explains the rules of the game. You go along in the builing, then just before you go outside there is this body on the floor. I just saw the fake blood and closed my eyes, you've passed in a second. But after that there is nothing else horrible- the ride was fab you should definately go on. Like I said- Saw the movie is not my idea of fun, but the ride at Thorpe Park was well worth going on. Obviously what is scary to me might not be scary to you but you just have to think of all the young children who are going on! Hope that helps and enjoy your day there :)

Why do you have to be 15 to go on saw the ride?

You don't!!! Anyone above 1.4 meters can ride but the recommended age limit is twelve as it can get a little scary. I think on Fright Nights you need to be 18 to get in, as they put actors in the queue and on the ride, but that could be a rumour.
