I believe so because new Thomas and Friends books are mostly pre-ordered when a new movie is in production, but this movie might be all CGI. Of course it's going to be CGI. Because their is a promotional poster on Youtube founded by 'TidmouthSheds' with a CGI Thomas and a CGI Hiro who is going to be introduced in this movie and he is from Japan.
