It's actually different really . At the end of Dear John in the book both John and Savannah are out on their own back yard and John feels as if it's almost they were together again .
But in the Movie however, it seems like Savannah is waiting for John . And when she see's him she comes outside from the Diner to give him a hug

In the book, Savannah and John are out back on their own backyard. Savannah is married to Tim, but he did get better from his cancer. So he didn't die. But, Savannah looks up at the moon, and John feels as if they're almost together again.
As for the movie, it's much different. In the end, Tim does die. Savannah is most likely waiting for John in the Cafe. When John is locking up his bike from outside, Savannah see's him, she comes out and they hug.
Yes it is. In the movie, Savannah and John most likely get back together, while in the book they don't. She's married to Tim, and he doesn't die, he got better from her Cancer treatment.
Tim doesn't die in the book, although I think he dies in the ending
The book was better than the movie i have to admit. but it was still a good movie but its a little confusing if you don't know whtas going on. the movie is just a skim of things with a twits on the book. so if that's your style give it a shot!!! but i totally recommend reading the book its written and composed in more depth than the movie!!! but you have to see the movie to cause ya know channing tatum and Amanda seyfreind are amazing:)
In the book they don't . In the movie they re-unite towards the end of the movie
There is no previous movie, however it is based on the book "The Roommate" by Francine Pascal, inspired by the movie "Single White Female" based on the book "SWF Seeks Same" by John Lutz.
I don't think we should keep our hopes up for it, but no I don't think so . But then again you never no .- (-;Most likely not .
