Yes. For most people the thrill of shopping is being out, seeing other people in a public setting and browsing at all of the merchandise in a store or mall. Actually buying necessities or even luxury items does not usually produce the good feelings of shopping and can actually lead to buyer's remorse when the person gets home and realizes they don't need many of the things they bought. So yes, I think shopping is mostly a form of entertainment.

It is a form of entertainment for me. Even window shopping! Right with the help of technology I can already distress while at home. Just browsing through robecart.com, thebestsites.com and seeing all beautiful selections entertains me. Sometimes I don't shop/browse to purchase. I do that to think about what I should wear or how to put together an outfit. :) You can easily find shopping websites at one place at The Best Sites.
