No, his career temporarily imploded during a scandal. However he made a few small comebacks before surprising his fans with a rather amazing performance in the movie Blow. He has faded into the limelight, but we never know where and when he'll pop up. "get it?! ha HA!"

In light of today's celebrities and the things they do such as drugs, theft, DUIs, domestic violence, etc., his scandal is by today's standards hardly worthy of news in comparison. He is a highly talented actor and performer with a great sense of humor. Pee Wee's big adventure is a classic, but you've really got to see him in the movie Blow.

He is voicing one of The Smurfs in the 2011 Smurf movie, and he has a Pee-Wee Herman project coming out next year as well.
