No one knows the actors'/actresses' true beliefs but themselves. However through online research, etc, it would seem that Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins) is either a Christian or a Catholic, and that Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee) is a Christian. I have not yet found out about any others. Sam, and then Frodo closely following, ARE my favorite characters and I am overjoyed that they are seemingly saved, but I am praying for ALL the actors, actresses, and crew. I dearly wish hope and all the others have or will accept the Lord, and that they accept Tolkien's clear spiritual ideas he expresses in LOTR.
This is a quote from Elijah Wood:
"[I am] probably more spiritual than reilgious, I'm not a huge believer in or supporter of organised religion. It's run by people, and people tend to tarnish the purity of what religion is about. I was raised a Christian, I believe in The Bible and that's a good thing - I believe more in a personal relationship with God than having to go through priests. I believe in prayer, yes, and that it is listened to. I do believe my life has been blessed so much during my 20 years, i can't believe that there's not someone looking out for me."
Here is a quote (from an interview) by Sean Astin:
"What is your favorite prayer?"
"There's a guy named Rob Dugger who was a very senior member of the Democratic National Committee. [A]fter I'd met with John Kerry, [Rob had] arranged a meeting and this [was] at the height of my trying to grapple with what I was able to accomplish--and not--on a political level.
We just had this conversation, and I asked him that question. [H]e said every morning he wakes up and he says a prayer, "Allow me to be an instrument of Your will." I thought that was excellent, and a few thousand times in my life since then, I've invoked the same request."
"In the movie (The Final Season), there's a scene where you're first driving to Norway, and you pass a sign that says, "On the eighth day, God created baseball." Why do you think baseball is such a sacred and quintessential American sport? Do you think there is a tie between faith and baseball itself?"
"Faith is Baseball. Baseball is faith. Norway's baseball, baseball's Norway. Norway's faith, faith is Norway. It's an American temple, and I suppose it's secular to the extent that there isn't a crucifix or some other kind of formal holy ritual associated with it.
[T]here's something about being on grass and playing a game together that just connects you to the land. And if you're connected to the land, you can't help but be connected to the universe. [A]nybody who's ever played baseball or stepped onto a field for spring training or gone to a professional baseball game and seen the guys run out on the field, there's a kind of poetry of human motion. And there's something divine about it. There's no other word for it."

And, on a sadder note, here is a link to a page where Peter Jackson and his crew seem to defy that LOTR has any Christian symbolism at all.

To conclude, I believe we should constantly be praying for these wonderful actors/actresses who have blessed our life so much by portraying beloved LOTR characters so amazingly well. And not just the actors -- ALL the people who worked on this movie. Wouldn't Tolkien be touched if all of them were saved and met him in Heaven?

Ok I am guessing you are thinking of King Theoden of Rohan, when Saruman is like posessing him. Hope that helps
The cast of The Right Honourable Mr. Joseph Chamberlain - 1902 includes: Joseph Chamberlain as himself
No - he was not. When Pirates of the Caribbean (Curse of the Black Pearl) was shooting, he was busy with Harry Potter II and one of the Leprechaun movies. When PotC II was shooting, he was busy with Harry Potter III and IV, some TV stuff and possibly his role in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. When PotC III was shooting he was likewise busy with a bunch of other projects. He never would have had time to be in any of them - which explains why he is not listed as part of the cast for any of them.
"...Nine for mortal men doomed to die..." The Black Riders, or Ringwraiths/Nazgul in The Lord of the Rings were "great kings of men" in Middle-earth that came under Sauron's sway. Enticed by the promise of immortality, the kings eagerly accepted the Rings offered to them by Sauron, and, for a time, enjoyed seemingly everlasting life and power. Gradually, however, as their lives were stretched to far beyond their given limit, they entered into a state of "undeadness," and hated the light. The Nine rings bound them to Sauron, and they became his greatest and most feared servants. Their greatest weapon was the terror and despair they inspired in the hearts of men. Their chief was the Witch King of Angmar; a great and evil sorcerer. The Ringwraiths were destroyed when the One Ring was cast into the fires of Mount Doom.
