Is William Rawls gay in the wire?

Its never confirmed but it is strongly implied that he is a closet homosexual. In Season Three Episode 11, Brother Mouzone's henchman is inquiring about Omar at a gay bar in Baltimore. As the henchman is leaving the establishment, we see William Rawls sitting at the bar, having a drink and enjoying himself. This, of course, is a surprise to viewers as Rawls is one of the meanest, most business-minded police in the department. This is proof, once again, of how The Wire forces you to challenge your perceptions of everyone in society. Watch it, learn from it, love it. It is, in my humble opinion, the greatest television show ever.
