American heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio, who replaced Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 67, his wife and manager have said.

Dio apparently died at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2010. It is believed that he died from complications related to his treatment for stomach cancer.
