Indeed, and still singing, most recently on December 28th, 2009, in a recital at the Liceu, Barcelona. Of course, after more than half a century gracing the stages of the world, she could and should retire. But the great lady seems to need her public. And her public still wants to (at least) see her. The recital at the Liceu was sold out.
