How would you find the year of a Charles Daly double barrel shotgun 2711 fine damascus barrel?

How can you tell the year of your old double barrel 12 gauge?
Take the gun apart. Look for proof marks on the barrels and barrel flats. Post them and we can tell you if the gun is Belgian or English. If it is German, it will have proofmarks only if later than 1892. No proof marks also could mean American, but the style will tell us that. I am always happy to discuss the German Dalys.
