No. While many Mormon's thoroughly enjoy the pleasant "chillax" sounds of Jack Johnson, his lyrics in songs such as "Never Know", "It's all understood", and "Sleep through the static" reflect ideas that are much more liberal and somewhat anti western / organized religion... suggesting that Mormonism is probably the last religion Jack Johnson would associate himself with. This should not be construed to mean that he holds any ill-will or contempt toward Mormons or the church, as his songs also reflect peace and tolerance.

No. Jack Johnson is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church). He doesn't belong to any organized religion but is a spiritual person. About religion, he said "The line about God wearing camouflage you can read as God is in everything. The idea of camouflage, he's blending in, he's always all around. It's a little biting, 'God wears camouflage and drives a Dodge', but at the same time, you really can't argue against any of the stuff. None of it is untrue if you believe in any form of God, whether you want to call it nature or the guy with the grey beard."
