Edgar McLean Stevenson, Jr. (November 14, 1927 - February 15, 1996), better known as McLean Stevenson, was an American actor most recognized for his role as Lt. Colonel Henry Blake on the TV series M*A*S*H.
Henry Morgan Morgan died on December 7, 2011 at the age of 96.[5] On confirming his death, his son Charles said that he had been recently treated for pneumonia.
All the main cast members except for Larry Linville (Frank Burns) and Maclean Stevenson (Lt-Col Henry Blake) are still alive. We can now add, sadly, Harry Morgan to this list of greats from the MASH series. Interesting side note here, if you consider Trapper John, M.D. to be part of MASH (it was considered a spin off) then Pernell Roberts can be added to the list at least of actors playing MASH characters. The only reference to MASH ever in the series, besides the name, was the opening in which Trapper (Roberts) is having a dream and calling out "Hawkeye, Rader..." Other than the opening, Trapper had no other apparent connections although I always wanted to see a visit by someone from MASH on the series.
Most of the cast are still acting, although many have passed on and most of them are in there 80s and 90s, they still are remembered and recognized for their work in Mash.
