Is Disney Channel more popular than Nickelodeon?

Disney Channel is kinda more popular the Nickelodeon but i would say that Disney Channel has Nickelodeon beat!!!

Dude No way. Disney may have Hannah Montana and all the other baby shows that are popular. But look at NIckelodeon you got SPONGEBOB Drake and Josh Degrassi and new bands like Big Time Rush. They show the older Cartoons that were most popular like All That. So in my opinion Nick owns Disney.

I'm not sure which would be easier because they are both publicly traded companies. Disney has an investment plan that 50% of the corporation is reserved for people to but stock and share the benefits of a company that has been around and proved it's stability for a very long time. Nickelodeon you actually have to purchase through it's parent company Viacom. They started a buy back of stock worth up to 4 billion dollars. But it was suspended in 2005. So my answer to your question is what ever company you like more. Disney would be easier and more trustworthy as far as being a shareholder but in the end it's really up to you.

Disney is okay but Nickelodeon rocks, especially Teen Nick. I love watching Degrassi! Nickelodeon is the best! I like Disney for Phineas and Ferb but other than that Nickelodeon is the best!

In my opinion Nickelodeon is a lot better....

BUT. Which one you like is totaly to do with your age.

Disney fans tend to be a lot younger than Nick fans simply because shows like Victorious and iCarly are generally aimed at teens and tweens.

Nearly always (expecially in Hannah Montanna) Disney is trying to preach a moral, which is pretty tedious. And they make movies, which can some times be good. (Such as Startruck (2010) but mostly they are really corny and are nearly ALWAYS about being a good friend.

Not to mention Miley Cyrus is heading down Lindsay Lohan's path. So much for a Disney type role model!

All though Disney is sliding down a slippery slope it does have its good points. Like, there jokes are quite funny and there's good editing. Also the actors look they have a lot of fun on set.

Also their latest show Phineas and Ferb is great and I watch it myself. Probably because it doen't fall into the catogories above.

BUT. Nick is arguably a lot better.

1. The jokes are so much funnier, Dan Schneider produced and directed most of the shows and he's really good at teen comedy and screwball sitcoms

2. The actors are somewhat better. Most shows on Nick are more belivable than shows on Disney (although Big Time Rush isn't all that realistic) which makes the show down to earth and easier for teens like me to relate to.

3. They don't compeletly ditch on shows. Nick at Nite brings back classics a lot of "adults" like. For example Kenan and Kel

4. They have an awsome new show called Victorious and it it includes a lot of music, which I do admit, is sort of a copy of Hannah Montanna, but the music on Victorious is a lot better.

Just to get things straight. Disney Channel movies and Disney movies are compeletly different. Who doesn't like Finding Nemo?
