Every week, Josh Gates - a world adventurer and eager truth-seeker - and his small crew of production buddies visit a different international destination alleged to be the home of a notorious, supernatural or mysterious creature, such as the Chilean Chupacabra, as well as some lesser-known phenomena, such as the dinosaur-like creatures reported in the skies over Papua New Guinea, a haunted village in Thailand and the wolfman of Argentina. Josh searches for evidence to either prove or debunk these stories by talking to witnesses and experts and immersing himself in the local culture.
Opinion #1:
But no - Destination Truth is only about 24% real. For instance, when they were doing the creepy Doll Island, they got scared when they pokesd a doll standing up, and its eyes flashed open. In case you didn't know, that's what they're SUPPOSED to do. When laid down, eyes are closed. Standing, they're opened. Out in the elements they were bound to get stuck, and, when it was poked, broke something loose and the eye snapped right open.

Edit to above answer: In the Doll-Island episode, he does NOT poke the doll, he just comes close to doing so. The video is currently on youtube if you wish to view it. Whether or not you choose to believe these events are staged are not are entirely up to you.

The movie exists, so it is real. But the events in the movie came purely out of the writers creative little brains. So, no, it is not real.
