While good grades are not needed, depending on the lifestyle and goals one has for themselves, there are several reasons one would want good grades in school. A person with good grades shows that they are knowledgeable, either overall, in a certain subject, or both. Based on the grades one achieves, they can get into a higher end college, resulting in being more likely to get a job that is both well paying and enjoyable.
