I could not think of worse mis-casting. Vroom! I do recall the Debbie Reynolds drove a motor scooter ( either a Lambretta or a Vespa) in the film ( The singing Nun) which was sort of based on the then-Okay life of Soeur Sourire- lit, the smiling sister, who was a Dominican nun. Not mentioned in the film was her departure from religious life and subsequent lesbianism and eventual double suicide, the ex-nun"s real name was Janine (or Jeannine) Deckers, she was Belgian, not French, but did speak (and sing) in the French Language. Debbie Reynolds wore a religious habit on the bike, by the way. Soeur sourire was NOT checked-out on Motorcycles or scooters to my knowledge. Perhaps a directorial pun on (Hell"s Angels) a more feminine and heavenly twang with a scooter. sorry, not Phyllis Diller.
