∙ 14y agoEdward wants Bella to stay human because he doesnt want her to be a monster like he is. He doesnt want to put her through the pain of the venom. He will also miss her brown eyes and the blush on her cheeks.

∙ 13y agoEdward believes that vampires do not have souls. He feels that it would be very selfish of him to have Bella lose her soul just so she would stay with him forever. They both underestimate the feelings the other has for them.

∙ 14y agoBecause he wanted to keep the treaty his kind made with the werewolves, and he wanted Bella to experience as much as she could, because after being changed into a vampire, she could not go back, and she might regret it. Bella doesn't think she would ever regret changing into a vampire though, so it is a constant disagreement between Edward and Bella
