Katniss is concerned about Peetas survival because even though she won't admit it, she loves him. And she couldn't bear it if he died. In Catching Fire when Peeta says it won't make a difference to anyone if he dies, Katniss realizes the only person it would affect would be her. Her life wouldn't be the same without him.
Revlon, Avon and Estee Lauder don't test or have chemicals tested. Maybe your other guide is an older edition? I believe Revlon and Avon stopped in 1986 and 1989 respectively and EL a few years later.
As the name suggests, MONOcots have ONE cotyledon.

Caring for an Injured PetAs with children, you have a responsibility as a dog owner to provide for the basic and emergency needs of your pet. There is always the possibility of a pet becoming sick or injured, and that should have been taken into consideration before adopting or purchasing your dog. I don't know your situation, however, I would start by calling your local vet. Explain what happened to your dog and what your options are with limited income. If you call your local humane society, they may open an investigation and you run the risk of losing custody of your pet - so to speak. If your financial restrictions are due to the recent loss of a job, death of a spouse or other unexpected event, this might work in your favor. This shows that historically you have been able to care for your pet and that you just need some temporary assistance to address his or her injuries. However, that answer is ridiculous. It is an animal, not a child. Everyone deserves to have a dog-even "poor" people. I took my dog with a broken pelvis to a vet and he said there is nothing I can do for her but to confine her to a small space and avoid giving her options to jump up onto things. Her healing time would be 4-6 weeks. Also try to include MSM, Glucosamine and Condroitin into your pup's diet to help the joints keep lubrication to avoid arthritis pain in the future. Nobody is going to take your puppy away. They don't take kids away from poor parents and they don't take dogs away from loving owners. Your pup will be up and about in no time.
No you non supporters of PETA. its there to help the ones without a voice. the ones who cant speak for themselves. im talking bout the animals of the world. its not right to slaughter them , and for them to get the treatment that is givin to them. what if your animal was your child? wouldn't you want to protect your child from harms way. i know i would. well these animals are Petas children we want to help them in any way, shape, or form.An Opposing View:PETA's views are flawed. They see animals as humans, and yet have no regard for human life. They protest against the deaths and slaughtering of animals, and yet can't even care for or adopt out the animals that land on their doorstep. They promote kindness, peace, and happiness for all, and yet they use vile threats, terrorism, abuse and harassment to those who publicly oppose them. Animals are not humans, they should never be treated as such, and they don't need a voice because they don't give a rat's arse of what the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals think of how they are treated. They live their lives according to what's in front of them, never in the past nor in the future, typical of the human mind.If "these animals" are PETA's children then why does PETA admit to killing hundreds of thousands of "their children" every year? Why does PETA protest against certain activities, organizations that animals are involved in when, if these activities were abolished, the animals have nothing but death itself to face through slaughter? Horses that are used for chuck-wagon racing are retired racehorses that would end up in a slaughter plant. Horses who love their job of pulling wagons down Old Sacramento, California would end up the same way, and their owners jobless and on welfare cheques stuck in the slums of the city. Service dogs who simply LOVE what they do and do it well every day are the happiest dogs on Earth, and yet PETA opposes that and wants to take that away from them, leaving people who need these animals alone, helpless, defenseless, and in utter psychological decay.PETA is indeed insane. It only cares about the animals in its slogan and protests, but never in reality, never in what will happen in the long term of they win this war in the future. It will never care about people, about the lives of people who benefit so greatly from these animals, nor about the happiness of the animals who have a job to do that they love doing.
a dog is a house pet and a wolf is a wild animal that is endangered. but the are related in some way ..A dog is usually a harmless pet, And a wolve is a wild beast.A dog is actually a subspecies of the Grey wolf (canis lupis). In other words, dogs are basically domesticated Grey Wolves.Dogs are domestic and descended from wolves, while wolves are wild and don't have such diverse breeds.A dog is domestic and a wolf is wild and cannot bark, but only does quiet barks when wanting attention or when afraid. Wolves are hard to tame and are aggresive mostly. When most people say "dog, they mean the domesticated variety, that we make our pets. The wolf is a canine. The wolf is almost always in the wild, with wild habits. Some of those habits do show up in our domestic pets.
