^-^ In the anime, (haven't finished the manga yet) Misha is indeed 'resurrected' because her sister believes that what Misha did was selfless and that Misha deserves to be an angel. Kotaro is greatly relieved and the two are happily reunited.
(If you don't understand about the whole, 'wait, resurrected? did she die?' read the following... however.... SPOILERS!)
Shia, the demon girl, was fire as a demon apprentice. Nyaa tried to get her back as a demon apprentice but she quickly turned him down, saying that she doesn't want to hurt anyone. (she is particularry thinking about ten-kun) and then after a moment, she dissapears. (As in, cease to exists) And everyone forgets about her except Misha. Misha, devastated that Ten-kun forgot about her, makes him remember and tries to bring Shia back. After a few incidents she succeeds (partly), and makes everyone forget about her except Kotaro, then she too, ceases to exist. This is how she supposedly 'dies'.

Other works by Koge-Donbo are Pita-Ten (which I highly recommend), Digi-Charat is cute, and Yoki Koto Kiku to name a few.
Peeta Mellark is one of the characters in the Hunger Games, but he gets his name from Pita bread, you know, cause he's the baker's son. There is no such thing as a 'peeta' there is such thing as 'pita bread.'
