Skid Row members, Rachel Bolan and Dave Sabo wrote and recorded "I Remember You" in 1989. The song was re-recorded in 2003 by Skid Row featuring their new singer, Johnny Solinger. The Ataris also recorded the song for the "Punk Goes Metal" compilation in 2000, and samples of the original with Sebastian Bach were used in the recording.
