The shows themselves don't pull in money in the same way a show on any other channel would. Disney only plays commercials for other upcoming Disney shows (with the exception of weekend mornings when they are played on ABC). All the money probably comes in through merchandising. It would be hard to put an amount on how much money Disney makes off of merchandising for their shows, but I would guess it to be a pretty good amount. Judging by what I've seen from modern day Disney shows, I would also have to guess the production costs to be slightly less than on most other TV sitcoms. This is probably necessary for the merchandise to maintain a high enough profit margin. Disney has a policy of only doing 100 episodes per show, no matter how many people may still be watching it. This policy is intended to make room for new shows and new merchandise. This is part of the reason you see so many spinoffs after a successful Disney show has ended. Marketing for Disney parks and movies is also very cheap, since the company is advertising on it's own channel. This is, most likely, the main reason that Disney keeps the channel going. That is to say, that the shows are all just marketing devices for Disney merchandise, parks, movies, etc.

Disney Channel stars make over millions of bucks a year(Did you know that when Miley Cyrus turns 20 years old, she is going to be a millionare? I heard that on the radio).

Miley Cyrus is already a millionare. She makes over 40 million already from her CD's and moveis and shows. It was on her biography on E!.(the channel) It also depends who you are. She's blown up doing concerts and most Disney stars fdont do concerts to make the tons of money she does. So it depends.

so good luck if you have an audition.
