It started of as a short 60 second sketch on the Tracy Ullman Show on April 16th 1987 and became a day time half hour show on December 17th 1989 on Fox television. So far it's had 440 episodes. So since the Tracy Ullman Show it's been 22 years but since Fox television it's been 20 years.
