I don't understand your question regarding "seasons". The original mini-series was 10 hours and aired first in 1983, I believe. A sequel followed a few years later entitled "The Thorn Birds - The Lost Years" and it was a 4 hour program, if I remember correctly. What did you mean by seasons? .
