For some reason, only a few people dislike him because of how the press overview him and judge him. Like when he went out with Caroline, some people didn't like that. But he has loads of fans so thats good.

there's no reason at all to hate him, jealous and greedy people are the only ones who hate him.

In my personal opinion, i love one direction and there songs.

There are many reasons that people hate a band. Personally, I don't know how many "One Direction" haters there are now, but when a band usually sucks or someone hates it, it is because:

1) There is a large discrepancy between the QUALITY of the music and the POPULARITY of the music. The quality tends to be low and the popularity is high. (Ex. Disco in the '70s) One Direction does not write their own lyrics, and their lyrics are very cliche. We've heard them before; that same old tune.

2) People mainly like them for their looks. Unfortunately, the music industry has messed up because people let it. People are more shallow now, and they look more towards looks than quality. There are so many other GOOD artists out there with more meaningful music (meaningful lyrics) who never get a chance to make it big because people choose stars who just look good. If you ask a 1D fan if they like 1D's music, many will say they do. I am not doubting that people don't like them for their music, but the music that people like nowadays is very shallow music-it has no depth, no deep meaning like Pink Floyd or Nirvana.

3) They practically had success handed to them. They never had to hit the pavement and work for success. They were on X-Factor and made it big right away, a bunch of hot British guys with sexy accents and decent voices and BAM, top album on Itunes. People who like better music, and by that I mean, DEEPER music with more meaning, don't like the fact that the music industry has ended up this way.

4) They are "fake"; people tell them how to dress, write their lyrics, and tell them how to act. Some people consider them fake because they are "products of the music industry." They are told what to do instead of just singing their own songs and acting freely. They are like machines in a sense, designed to please the viewers, designed to sell records, designed to increase the income of money for the music industry. People don't like this.

These are reasons why I don't really like them either. Is there music catchy? Yes. Are they pretty good singers? Yes. Am I glad they don't use autotune? Yes. But are there so many other, deeper, hard-working, just as good and even better singers and Guitarists out there? Hell yes. Do these other people get blocked out from making it big because of bands like 1D and singers like Justin Bieber? Yes.

Take a step back and look at the popular "musicians" nowadays. Look at their lyrics, all the same ****. No meaning, no depth.
