How many owls are there in Harry Potter?

We know that at least 5 different breeds of owls are sold at Eeylops Owl Emporium - Barn Owl, Brown Owl, Screech Owl, Snowy Owl and Tawny Owl. There are almost certainly more sold there, but the species are unknown.

That is un-known, but the special features part of the Harry POtter and The Philosphers Stone says they used 80% real owls and 20% animated owls.
