Over the course of his life Michael Jackson lived in lots of houses. The house in Gary, Indiana which they moved out of when they made the switch to Motown and California. They then lived with Berry Gordy and Diana Ross for a while so that they could get the lay of the land before buying a house themselves. They they got a house in Encino California which he purchased for his mother and later he purchased Neverland Ranch (named after the magical land of never growing up promised by Peter Pan) and never sold that property.
