the hobbit gets bumbed
Aragorn (Estel, as he is known at this time) will not be shown in Peter Jackson's upcoming "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". Not at least in the theatrical cut, he may make a cameo appearance in the Extended Edition, but that is not yet known. If he was to appear, Viggo Mortenson would probably not play him, because by the time of The Hobbit he would only be 27 (in The Lord of the Rings, Aragorn is 87 - or so he tells Eowyn in the Extended Edition of the Two Towers).

An Unexpected Journey, Part 1 of the Hobbit is supposed to be out in December 14, 2012. There and Back Again, Part 2 is schelduled for December 13, 2013.
The first part The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, comes out in Australia's theater's on the 26th December 2012. Part 2, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, comes out a year later on the 26th December 2013.
