A priestess has a premonition that naruto dies from a fight towards the end with a demon in which naruto jumps in the air after dodging a tentacle and with out him knowing gets stabbed straight through his chest and didn't notice at first. In the movie so far all 100 premonitions have came true. Narutos team is convinced that it won't happen and naruto is scared that it might and the priestess is most certain of it. Later these kind of terracotta warriors (made of stone) trap naruto and the priestess in an attempt to stop the demon from getting his body back and naruto makes mass amounts of his famed shadow clones. while naruto is carrying the princess one of the stone soldiers with their spear stab naruto in the chest, but to every ones surprise it poofs. In the end naruto wins and doesn't die though. The end

That's exactly the point, obviously he does not die, at least, permanently. I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know, but if they did kill him then it wasn't permanent, because there is still a ton of story-line left for Naruto Shippuuden to continue. I have seen the movie and i know for a fact that Naruto doesnt die. At least if you guys are talking about Naruto Shippuuden 1 movie. There is this girl who has visions basically and she saw in one of her visions that Naruto dies because he tries to save her from the Main evil guy. Later on when that time does actually come...Naruto is about to die but then she makes a choice to save him using her necklace thing that has this really powerful priestess power and it did save him but it put her in danger and she was going to die. Naruto noticed this so he saves her and uses a Rasengan that was powered with her priestess power and defeated the guy.
